Helping the elderly

Helping the elderly project is aimed at helping the elderly and disabled who have no income at all and are begging on the streets of Gorgora for food and basic needs. The main goal of the project is to provide them with food and basic needs. There are also many others who do not have an income but our association is unable to support them.  Most of them also do not have shelter either.

Here is one of the houses an elder lives in. Please click on the video below to see.

Currently, the association sponsors 24 disabled and elders. The association provides them a monthly donation of 300 Ethiopian Birr for food and basic needs.

Because of our help, these elders and disabled do not have to beg on the streets now. With your help, we hope we can provide the helpless elders at least the basic needs of human life such as food and shelter.
